Registration/Cut-off's

READ EVERYTHING ON THIS SITE AND ENSURE YOU HAVE NO QUESTIONS ABOUT THE EVENT AND WHAT YOU'RE GETTING YOURSELF INTO, THE MANDATORY GEAR REQUIRED AND THAT YOU'RE COMFORTABLE USING IT IN THE WINTER. 

Pre-Race and RACE-DAY FORMAT

PRE-RACE: 

GEAR CHECK Mandatory for all

TO MAKE THE GEAR CHECK A SEAMLESS TRANSITION, PLEASE HAVE YOUR GEAR PULLED OUT AND EASILY accessible (EG: IN A RUBBERMAID BIN/LAID OUT FOR EASY ACCESS)

100k/200k gear check: FRIDAY FEB 24TH, EVENING GEAR CHECK: COBDEN, ON - LOCATION, COBDEN CIVITAN HALL AT 40 GOULD STREET. FROM 6:30 TO 8:30PM. (ideally we get most 100k/200k riders completed). 

LATE GEAR CHECK IS ANYTIME AFTER 6AM. IF AFTER 6:00AM on race day, YOU MUST WAIT UNTIL AFTER THE START. 

50k riders can show up friday nigth for gear check if they are around, or do gear check saturday morning. see more info below. 

RACE Day:

Race day GEAR CHECK-IN IS AT COBDEN WHITEWATER BREWERY, LAKESIDE LOCATION, ON HIGHWAY 17. 

100k/200k gear check on race day: 5 to 6am (ideally done night before)

50k gear check on race day: 7 to 8am.  

START TIMES

Start for 100K & 200K: 6:30AM start at the brewery (coffee/fruit/muffins free for riders).

start for 50KM: 8:30AM: LATE GEAR CHECK IS ANYTIME AFTER 8AM. IF AFTER 8:00AM, YOU MUST WAIT UNTIL AFTER THE START. (COFFEE/FRUIT/MUFFINS FREE FOR RIDERS).

Cut-offs times: 

NOTE: we have the rigth to pull you from the event if we feel that you are subject to hazardous conditions, riding unsafely, a hazard to yourself and/or others. 

based off a moving average speed of 7km/hr. 

THE 50KM CUT OFF IS 3.5 hrs (we rounded up to 4 HRS) TO THE HALFWAY POINT. 
the 100km cut off is 7.15 hrs to the halfway point.
THE 200km CUT OFF IS 14.3 HRS TO the 100km cP, that being the cobden civitan hall, which is a self check-in process as you pass through town and continue your second half of the 200km route. riders sign the white board with time in/out before they continue on route from the civitan hall CP). 

For the 200k, if you arrive to cobden after the 14.3 hrs and choose to continue to ride, please note that you will not be timed or watched by the organizers....you're totally on your own at this point.
